How to vote

Voting is now open, and there should be a ballot in your mailbox. Election day is on May 28th; you can vote by mail anytime until then, either by sending your ballot through the mail or by dropping it off at the drop box in front of City Hall (2180 Milvia St). You can also vote in person at 2286 Shattuck Ave. The polling location will be open from 9 AM to 5 PM every day until the 28th, when it will be open from 7 AM to 8 PM.

About district 4

Berkeley City Council District 4 consists of the Downtown, North Shattuck, and McGee-Spaulding neighborhoods, as well as a small portion of Southside. Our diverse community is home to students, families, and seniors; renters and homeowners; businesses and quiet residential streets.

City Hall, Civic Center Park, the Veterans Building, Berkeley City College, Berkeley High, Downtown BART Plaza, the North Berkeley Senior Center, Alta Bates, and the edge of UC Berkeley campus are all located in the district.
